Expressions of holyness, majesty, glory and throne room encounters. This shimmer of the flag on the fuchsia background reflects the blinking of the eyes on the wings of the Cherubim that Ezekial saw on the Kebar River. |
Inspiration.
This worship flag was released for the biblical year 5785. We tried a few colour combinations, but this was the first successful one.
We asked HaShem (G-d) why this was the one he released first, particularly given that RuachHaKodesh (Holy Spirit) had shown us other colour combinations before to start the project. He showed us the flickering of the pink light on the fabric which reminded us of the dance of flamingos we had seen years ago. This dance was a natural representation of the flickering eyes on the wings of the k'ruvim (Cherubim). The eyes are framed by black eyelashes which makes the eyes stand out against the translucent/white feathers of the wings. There are hundreds of eyes on the wings. Most eyes are still but every second there is a few that blink. Because there is always some eyes that blink at any one moment, the impression is that the eyes are in constant motion. The flamingoes replicated this effect. For their dance they formed this solid pink wall and the black beak were all facing in one direction. At every moment, however, a few beaks would turn direction which created this constant flickering of the black against the pink - just as the eyes on the wings of the k'ruvim Cherubim) were constantly flickering.
For Love To Worship, 5785 is about seeing a new facet of his holiness compared to the understanding gained in 5784. And being in the throneroom and seeing the k'ruvim (Cherubim) is part of that new experience.

Ezekiel 10:12
Their whole bodies, including their backs, hands and wings, and also the wheels, were full of eyes all around — even the wheels of the four k’ruvim (Cherubim).
Revelation 4:6, 4:8
6 In front of the throne was what looked like a sea of glass, clear as crystal. In the center, around the throne, were four living beings covered with eyes in front and behind.
…
8 Each of the four living beings had six wings and was covered with eyes inside and out; and day and night they never stop saying,
“Holy, holy, holy is ADONAI, God of heaven’s armies the One who was, who is and who is coming!”.
